  • Help your ministry partners accomplish their financial goals

Give your ministry partners the tools to build a lasting legacy

The Staff Legacy Fund offers a variety of giving options so your ministry partners can continue to support you and build the kingdom of God through retirement and even beyond their lifetime.

How It Works

A legacy gift is a great way to advance the Kingdom of God. When one of your ministry partners donates to the Fund, it will be invested immediately. You'll regularly receive the income from this gift to fund your ongoing ministry.

The Great Commission Foundation is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. We've identified more than $1 billion in charitable gifts through estate design. We assess no fees and 100% of any gift goes directly to ministry.

Proper planning is an important factor in making a legacy gift. It’s important to consider the gift’s timing, tax impact and the affect the gift will have on family and friends. We’ll help your faithful supporters identify the best giving option for them, but we also advise that they consult their legal, tax or financial advisor.

Your supporters have access to multiple legacy giving options. Most of them can be specifically tailored to their situation. Some of the most popular include:

  • Writing the Staff Legacy Fund into a will
  • Giving money out of a retirement account
  • Donating stock that has risen in value
  • Naming the Fund as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy

What CCC Staff Members Are Saying

Mike Duggins

Mike Duggins

"Recently, a very good friend passed away. She had been a long-term partner with Susie and me in our ministry. Although she cared deeply for us and was enthusiastic about all of the people who had come to Christ through our ministry over the years, when her life on this side of Heaven ended, her giving to our ministry ended as well. As you might imagine, this left us with the immediate need to find another financial supporter to cover the shortfall.

To address this need, Campus Crusade has launched a special opportunity called the "Staff Legacy Fund" which enables our supporters to continue their support of us and our ministry well beyond when they may have thought possible. As I have shared this opportunity with our partners, I have found all of them warm to the idea and several are in the process of setting up special contributions to our Legacy Fund.

"For us it's a significant lifetime commitment to support staff members just like we support our children in our long-term financial planning, we want to do the same for our staff members. We want to be able to say that we have finished well.

We recognize that we have been tremendously blessed, but we're channels, it's not just for us. It's for us to direct for His purposes and we want to continue that for the rest of eternity, not just our life."

“Ted and I are longtime Campus Crusade for Christ supporters. We believe that God has blessed us financially so we can be a blessing to others. We didn't want to wait until we had gone to be with the Lord to make significant gifts from our estate. We liquidated some of our major assets to invest as much as we could into God's work.

The Great Commission Foundation showed us more effective ways to give so we can minimize taxes and see the ministry impact during our lives. We enjoy the thrill of seeing God provide opportunities for ministry. The key to stewardship is following the Owner's direction and trusting His provision."
